It is the Policy of Dirk Baumann Lighting Ltd. to comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 1989 (No. 7 of 1989) and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) S.I. No. 44 Regulation 1993, and the Safety, Health and Welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2001 SI No. 481 of 2001, and to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the Safety, Health and Welfare of all employees whilst at work, and to provide such information, training and supervision, needed for this purpose.
It is the Policy of this Dirk Baumann Lighting Ltd. to protect, so far as is reasonably practicable, persons not employed by this Company who may be affected by our activities.
All employees have the responsibility to co-operate with Supervisors and Managers to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others.
It is the Policy of this Company to consult all staff and employees on matters of Safety and Health, and employees are hereby notified of the Company Policy and are encouraged to comply with their duties under the 1989 Act: the 1993 Regulations and the 1995 Regulations and the Safety, Health and Welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2001 SI No. 481 of 2001 and to notify the Company Management of identified hazards in the workplace.

The Policy will be kept up to date particularly as the business changes its nature and style. To ensure this, the Policy and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed as required.
