DBL & a Cork company D2K paired up to Supply and Install Lighting systems for 2 performance areas in the newly built Cork School of Music.
After inital meetings DBL specified suitable equipment and design, thus attaining the contract to complete the job.
Working closely with the building contractor, architects and specialist consultants over a 8 month period, the installation began while access to areas was still available.
Fully completed in July 2007, both systems have 72 channel dimming, over 120 lanterns, effects, control desks and rigging. Some 2km of cable involved.
All manufactured assemblys were made here at DBL.
We also designed and installed House lighting control for both areas.
